How can I join my company Active Hub?
You will need to register using a special link set-up for your company - you will either need to register with your company email address or use a special code which is communicated via internal communications.
How do I create an Active Hub for my company?

Who can acccess our Active Hub?
Only those with a valid email address or special code can access your Active Hub
Can children participate in the Total Active Hub?
Yes, we ask that children under 16 receive parental consent before taking part in any challenges
Can charities get involved in the Total Active Hub?
Yes, the Total Active Hub can support charity fundraising. Please reach out to the team who will set-up a call to run through your specific requirements. Click here to reach out.
Where can I download the myActiveHub mobile app from?
myActiveHub app is available on both the Apple iOS & Google Play app stores. Visit the relevant store and search for myActiveHub.
Will the app allow me to track my activities?
Yes, you can track all your activities within the mobile app.
Is the app a step-counter?
No, we don't count steps. Active Hub is focused on getting everyone more active with a clear purpose.
Can I participate in multiple sports in one challenge?
Yes, however this does depend on the challenge itself and what activities are permitted. We aim to deliver challenges which support everyone.
I'm taking part in a time based challenge and it's not showing the full time for my activity
For our time based challenges we only count the moving time within your challenge. This is calculated using the GPS data we receive from your activity.
Can I have multiple challenges running at the same time?
Yes, you can have as many challenges as you like; however long or short.
Can I extend the end date of my challenge once I've started?
This will depend on the challenge you have joined. Many will have fixed dates. If you have created your own challenge you can edit the dates at any point.
If I have multiple challenges running at the same time, do my activities update all challenges?
Yes, all challenges will be updated.
How does my activity data update on my challenge?
Your activity data is automatically updated in your challenges. This data comes directly from the myActiveHub mobile app or via a connected fitness device you have set up.
My activity data isn't updating on my challenge, what shall I do?
If an activity is not showing against your challenge, first check your Activities page to ensure the activity exists on the Active Hub system. If the activity is showing, it is likely not counting towards your challenge due to not meeting the criteria for the challenge (e.g. wrong activity type), or it is pending approval. If your activity is not showing on your Activities page, it may be saved as a draft in the myActiveHub app; alternatively, check your connections are set up correctly on your Connections page.
What does the Total Active Hub team do with my personal and activity data?

Can I track my activities using my own device?
Yes, you can link directly to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin or Strava. Many other apps can also be linked through Apple Health or Strava, visit their websites to find out more.
Do I need a fitness tracking device to join the Total Active Hub?
Can I use a tracking app which isn't myActiveHub?
Yes! We have direct connections with Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin and Strava, and many other apps can also be linked through Apple Health or Strava.
If I'm using Strava do I need to purchase/upgrade my Strava account?
No, Strava provide both a free & paid accounts. The free version is enough to support the Total Active Hub and track your progress.
How do I link my Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin or Strava to my Total Active Hub account?
Instructions on setting up your app connections can be found on your Connections page.
The app I record my activities on doesn't link to the Active Hub?
A wide range of fitness apps and equipment connect via either Apple Health or Strava, allowing your activity data to sync seamlessly with Active Hub. You can explore compatible apps by visiting the Apple or Strava websites.
I have historic activities I want to add to my challenge, but they are not showing on my challenge?
If connected with Apple Health, your activities from the previous 7 days should be transferred to the Active Hub. For Garmin, your activities from the last month should come through. For Strava and Fitbit activities, you can request an activity data refresh on your Connections page for up to 3 months.
Can I track with my Apple Watch?
Yes! You can have your Apple Watch activities synced to the Active Hub by setting up your connection with Apple Health

If your activity is not showing on your Activities page, it may be saved as a draft in the myActiveHub app; alternatively, check your connections are set up correctly on your Connections page.
How do I connect Apple Health to myActiveHub?
In the myActvieHub app home screen scroll down to 'Apple Health – Connect Now' to get set up. For full instructions, head to the Apple connections page.
What permissions are needed?
For ease and best results, we suggest tapping 'Turn On All', however please note the only data we collect from Apple Heath is Workouts and Workout routes.
Why aren’t my activities appearing?
If you can't see an activity on the Active Hub, ensure it is in the Apple Health. To do this, go to 'Workouts' in the Apple Health app, scroll down, and then tap 'Show All Data'. If the activity doesn't exist in Apple Health, it won't be sent to us. If your activity shows, check that permissions are enabled by tapping Sharing > Apps > myActiveHub.
Will past workouts sync too?
Yes - past workouts from up to the last 7 days will be synced to the Active Hub.
Are all workout types supported?
Most activity types saved in the Apple Workout app are supported, including running, walking, cycling, and swimming. Most activities from third-party apps will also be included - as long as they appear in Apple Health, they should come through to us!
Are steps counted?
No, steps are not counted. We only sync saved workouts.
Can I limit which data myActiveHub reads from Apple Health?
Yes, you can adjust permissions anytime in the Apple Health app under Sharing > Apps > myActiveHub.
How do I disconnect Apple Health from myActiveHub?
Open the Apple Health app, go to Sharing > Apps > myActiveHub, and turn off all permissions.
What is the best app to track activities on my Apple Watch?
We recommend using the Apple Watch Workout app.
Can I use other Apple Watch apps to track activities - for example Nike Run Club, Strava, Peloton?
Yes! A wide range of fitness apps and equipment connect with Apple Health, allowing your activity data to sync seamlessly with Active Hub. You can explore compatible apps through the App Store and find more details about Apple Health on Apple’s website.
Can I use my iPhone to track activities?
If you are wanting to track using your iPhone, you can record your activities directly in the myActiveHub app. If you already use a different app on your iPhone to track activities, if your activities can sync to Apple Health, we'll receive them. To see what activity data is in Apple Health, go to 'Workouts' in the Apple Health app, scroll down, and then tap 'Show All Data'.
Do the Apple Fitness Rings link my account?
No, your Apple Fitness Rings are calculated from a combination of your workout data and your passive physical activity throughout the day, such as steps and standing. The Active Hub only stores and uses workout data from Apple Health.
Can I hide my map information?
Yes, within your profile you have the option to hide your map setting.
What personal data of mine is the leadboard using?
The leaderboard is based on your activity data - whether that be the distance you have covered or your moving minutes.
I haven't received my verification email from the Total Active Hub
