Our focus revolves around two core elements: facilitating exceptional one-off team challenges and providing a year-round Active Hub for your colleagues. Engineered for sustained connection, engagement, and motivation, we tailor the experience to inspire individuals to move more.
Emphasising a collaborative partnership, we work closely with organisations like yours. We know that every company is different so before we deliver any Challenge or Active Hub, our team will run a workshop to optimise the impact on your employee wellbeing strategy, tailored to your budget and needs.

Frequently asked questions
Does Total Active Hub do ‘Step-Counter’ challenges?
Total Active Hub does not count steps, and here’s why:
Step-counter challenges have been around for a long-term and kicked-off various versions for individual challenges over the past 20 years. However, research highlights that using ‘steps’ to create team challenges is in fact one of the most un-inclusive ways to deploy challenges within a community or workplace.
As fun as step-challenge challenges may seem, unhealthy comparisons to others and placing too much weight on winning can turn fun challenges into negative experiences. These are some factors to consider before you start participating in step challenges.

Based on this, Total Active Hub uses the ‘real’ activities that individuals do to deploy various challenges which ensures everyone can take part in the challenge set.
Can I link rewards or incentives for users of Total Active Hub?
Absolutely. As the most flexible employee movement programme available, we adapt to your strategy ensuring we motivate the maximum number of employees to move more. Whether you want to deploy gift vouchers, donate to charity, plant trees, reward schools days or give employees a day off for hitting movement targets we can seamlessly integrate them into a one-off challenge or your own Active Hub
Can I measure the return-on-investment when using Total Active Hub?
Our Active Insights provide you live insights into how your community is moving providing an ability to clearly articulate the return on investment. Our baseline measurement is focusing on getting employees to move 150 minutes a week; this has been selected as it is the NHS and World Health Organisations recommendation on how much we should move each week. In addition, we focus on how many users are connected to the system, the frequency of activity, challenge sign-ups and many more statistics enabling Total Active Hub and yourself to build our key actions to further increase usage.
What is different about Total Active Hub?
Total Active Hub is the most flexible solution for employee physical movement, which will enable you to deploy a solution fully aligned to your wellbeing and wider company objectives. Some examples:
Example 1: Do you have a focus on being socially responsible? If yes, why not reward employees with a education school day (via our United World School partnership) for being active each day or week.
Example 2: Want to get employees back into the office? If yes, reward employees with a free weekly coffee for doing a walk in and around the office area.
Can I raise money for my corporate charities?
Yes, by using our Active Charity module you can raise money for your named charities. If you have multiple named charities, allow your employees to select which charity they would like the money to go to.
Money is raised as a direct result of your employees being active for 150 minutes each week; simply assign an amount you would like to reward per week per employee. Then watch your employees being active whilst raising funds through their movement.
How does the pricing work and how much will it cost me?
We set our pricing so there are no hidden surprises along the way and provides certainty on budgets by you buying a fixed number of user licences. We know that not everyone will be initially motivated to join the challenges set, and therefore see sign-up rates range from between 20% - 85% depending on the industry and company structure. This agreed percentage is then used to operate a price per head model which includes set-up, user onboarding and in-life client support. There are some variable costs to consider mainly around rewards & incentives which we’ll scope out with you in the discussion phase.
