Move 100km your way in 10 days!

Starting on 10th October, to mark World Mental Health Day, Sport in Mind are challenging you to run, walk or cycle 100km over 10 days and fund vital support to improve the lives of people suffering with mental health problems.
  • Have you got what it takes to move 100km?

To mark world mental health day on 10th October, Sport in Mind are challenging you to run, walk or cycle the epic distance in only 10 days, to not only challenge yourself, but also to change lives.

By taking part in the challenge, you will personally be supporting the recovery of an individual suffering with their mental health by funding their place in our sports and physical activity sessions.

Let’s get moving, and together we can help transform the nation’s mental health through sport!

Your £25 entry fee will support the recovery of an individual suffering with mental health problems by securing their space in our weekly sessions.

Upon entry you will receive a Sport in Mind t-shirt to wear with pride during your challenge.

Get moving, log your activity, don’t forget to smile and know you are changing lives.

  • To date, Sport in Mind has supported the recovery of over 25,000 people with mental health problems through our sport and physical activity programmes.

We are proud of what we have achieved so far, but we know we still have a big challenge ahead of us - in 2023 alone, there were an estimated 1.2 million people on the waiting list for mental health services, and an average of days were lost to mental health conditions.

We want to ensure that as many people as possible have the support they need – our service reaches people at different points in their recovery journey, supporting them to get active and provides a crucial lifeline to an audience whose needs are simply not being met elsewhere.

  • We know how powerful movement is for positive mental health - and if you are considering this challenge, we know you do too!

  • The more people who take part, the more people we can support - are you ready for the challenge?!

“As a charity that exists to use the power of physical activity to improve mental health, our partnership with Total Active Hub is such a natural fit, and we are delighted to be partnering with an organisation who’s purpose is so closely aligned to our own.”

Neil Harris - Founder and CEO, Sport in Mind
“The work that Sport in Mind do to improve people’s mental health through sport is quite simply a life-line to those they reach, so when we were approached to partner with them the synergy was clear. With the use of our platform, we can assist them in reaching their growing community and help bring their fundraising events to life.”

Tony Eames - Founder & CEO, Total Active Hub
“Depression robbed me of a normal life for 10 years, but when I joined Sport in Mind's sessions they gave me the chance to play sport again and feel 'normal'. I've heard people say 'playing sport changed my life', but for me Sport in Mind didn't just change my life, they saved it!”
