How do you like to keep active? What activities do you enjoy the most?
I have two dogs and a horse. We are often somewhere up the hills. That’s definitely my favourite way to keep active.
Why do you feel it is important to lead a physically active lifestyle?
To maintain not only physical health but also mental health. Getting out in the fresh air with good countryside views is definitely good for mental health.
How does the Active Hub platform support your physical movement?
It keeps me committed to doing something. If I sign up, I am then invested to do some level of exercise every day.
What event on the Active Hub have you enjoyed the most?
I am currently enjoying the National Walk Your Dog week. I look at the updates and love seeing photos of everyone else’s dogs involved in the challenge.
Has having the Active Hub in place via your employer enabled you to lead a more active lifestyle?
Definitely, I am committed to doing something everyday. I like the challenge of it.
What is your 2024 active goal?
To complete more Munros (mountains in Scotland). Potentially tick off some Wainwrights too.
I signed up for No Zero Days in January. I loved the challenge, committing to doing something each day for 20 minutes. I’m quite competitive so didn’t want to miss out on any days once I’d signed up.
