How do you like to keep active? What activities do you enjoy the most?
I walk, run, and do outdoor swimming all times of the year, I mostly enjoy swimming in cold water, the buzz you get afterwards is amazing!
What motivated you to join the UVL – Walk the Thames Path?
It’s a great way to get everyone involved and make sure people are getting out of the office, into the fresh air. It was also a chance to catch up outside of the office.
What did you enjoy most about taking part in the challenge?
Spending time with people outside of the office that I wouldn’t usually maybe have the chance to catch up with.
What was your biggest learning from participating in the challenge?
I can walk faster than I thought!
Why do you feel it is important to lead a physically active lifestyle?
It’s good for your mind, body, and soul. It’s very good for your mental health.
What is your 2024 active goal?
To complete the Cabbage Patch 10mile run in October.
Remember the feeling you get after you exercise to help motivate you next time you’re struggling
