How do you like to keep active? What activities do you enjoy the most?
I try and do at least 30 minutes of active exercise a day. I love long walks but most recently I have taken up running and managed to complete regular 5k runs.
Why do you feel it is important to lead a physically active lifestyle?
Keeping an active lifestyle not only keeps your body fit and healthy but it is important for a fit and healthy mind.
How does the Active Hub platform support your physical movement?
The reminders are so helpful if you have forgotten to track an activity or even a bit of healthy competition with colleagues has been a great boost.
How has participating in Active Hub events helped increase your engagement with other colleagues?
Its great to track how your team is doing with other colleagues with in the practice, PCN or even looking at your own goals and achievements.
Has having the Active Hub in place via your employer enabled you to lead a more active lifestyle?
Yes absolutely, its given me a real push to be more active.
What is your current active goal?
My active goal is to complete at least 35 minutes of activity each weekday and a 5k run at the weekend.
