How do you like to keep active? What activities do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy walking, running and generally getting outdoors, keeping active and enjoying fresh air and (rare) good weather.

Why do you feel it is important to lead a physically active lifestyle?

I feel it is important to lead a physically active lifestyle because of the huge positive impact it has on mental wellbeing. Regular exercises helps reduce stress, improve mood and boost self-confidence. For me, the mental clarity and emotional balance that comes from keeping active are more important than the physical health benefits.

How does the Active Hub platform support your physical movement?

It adds some accountability into physical exercise.

How has participating in Active Hub events helped increase your engagement with other colleagues?

The team events help collaboration within our workplace, it’s a good way to speak to colleagues I might not necessarily interact with otherwise.

Has having the Active Hub in place via your employer enabled you to lead a more active lifestyle?

It certainly encourages me to get out and motivates me when I may not be feeling as motivated.

What is your current active goal?

To maintain an active lifestyle and improve my running times on events that I participate in.

Staying active has been less about changing my body and more about strengthening my mind. With the support the activehub gives, I have found better focus, balance and the motivation to get out there and positively impact my life.
